The Heart

The heart is the storehouse of life's experiences. Some experiences are good and help us to achieve great things, but some are not so good. Unfortunately, negative experiences can leave us crippled with fear and anxiety.  We find ourselves wrestling with feelings of low self-worth, and are unable to be the best that we can be. This can lead to isolation, depression, relationship breakdown, substance abuse and suicidal thoughts.

When you step into my therapy space, whether it’s in person or via the phone or video chat, you can expect confidentiality.  

 

Counselling is a journey that you and I will go on together, and it requires a great deal of trust.  This is achieved in stages as you grow in confidence to share and express the delicate areas of your life. Once you feel comfortable enough to share those areas, we will explore the solutions together.

 

Be assured that your counselling sessions are all about you, so you will be leading. I will only go where you the client take me.

FAMILY COUNSELLING

Child Therapy

Families can be a source of support, love and encouragement but sometimes relationships within families are put under pressure and the feeling of isolation or being overlooked can occur.

Whatever the family configuration, whether it is a single parent family, step-parenting or co-parenting, mother-daughter, nuclear family or a blended family, relationships can be complicated and may incur unique challenges and problems.

Therapy

Different family types, can bring different family problems for example, the stress of challenging teens, sibling feuds, divorce, becoming a new parent, adoption, can all set further hurdles within family dynamics.
